What the report covers
A repair completion report written here keeps each source of information apart, so whoever reads it can tell what was claimed, what was checked, and what the resident said:
- What was reported: where, when, and the symptom in the reporter's words.
- What the contractor says: what they did, the cause, and the outcome they report.
- Checks: who checked, how, what they found, and what the check did not cover.
- Evidence: photos, measurements, test logs or certificates, if any. Never required.
- The resident: resolved, not resolved, not asked, waiting, no reply or not applicable.
- Still open: anything left to do, with an owner and a date.
- Closure: who closed the record, when, and why.
- Later additions: a late reply, a revisit or a correction, added without rewriting.
