The short version: no account, no cookies, page views counted without tracking you, and the builder never sends what you type anywhere.

What happens in your browser

  • Everything you type into the builder is processed in your browser only. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
  • Your draft is kept in your browser's local storage, on your device, so it is still there when you come back. You can delete it at any time with "New blank record" or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
  • Files you open or download (JSON, PDF) are read and written on your device.
  • "Open in WhatsApp" opens WhatsApp with the message text, only when you click it. What happens next is between you and WhatsApp.

Hosting

This site is static and is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., USA. When you open a page, your browser connects to GitHub's servers, which receive technical data such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type. According to GitHub's privacy statement, GitHub may keep logs of visitor IP addresses for security and to comply with legal obligations. We do not receive these logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For transfers to the USA, GitHub relies on the transfer mechanisms described in its privacy statement.

Counting visits

To see which pages are read and where visitors come from, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., USA. A small script reports each page view: the page, the referring site, and the browser, device type and country derived from the request. It sets no cookies, does not use local storage, does not follow you across sites and does not build a profile; we see only totals. The builder's content is never part of it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What we do not do

  • No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising.
  • No fonts or images loaded from other services; the only outside script is the visit counter above.
  • No newsletter and no forms that send data to us. If you e-mail us, we use your message only to reply.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to the address above. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one for Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg).
